 For those looking to hear some great tunes and support the local arts scene, on Saturday October 18, Westword cartoonist Noah Van Sciver will release the second installment of his comic book, Blammo. The party starts at 5 p.m. with music by the Pseudo Dates, Modern Witch, and the Bluebird Equation at Wax Trax Records (638 E. 13th Ave, Denver). Around 8 p.m. Van Sciver will introduce and answer questions about Blammo #2 next door at Kilgore Books & Comics (624 E. 13th Ave, Denver). The night is sure to be a blast for fans of Van Sciver's edgy, hilarious work and indie music lovers alike.
